Feather Heist

The Feather Heist newspaper publication is a collaborative project between myself and three other designers (Bella Ignagni, Kristin Davis, and Alex Knepley). The content of this publication is based on a podcast transcription from This American Life.

The story follows a flutist from London (Edwin Rist) who breaks into a museum to steal over a million dollars worth of exotic and rare birds for their feathers to make fly fishing lures. Edwin Rist somehow manages to avoid serving any time in jail after all of this.

The group chose to take on a dossier approach to the design of this newspaper, adding handwritten red annotations to the paper. As far as my role and individual contribution I designed Act III: The Museum and Act IV: The Heist as well as the front cover and inside cover pages and formatting and sending to the printer.
